Blankets, sheets, pilows and coat hangers

Spare blankets, sheets, pillows and coat hangers are available on request. Contact the reception, and we will have them brought to your room.

Breakfast

Breakfast is served from 8:30 to 10:00 in the dining room on the ground floor. It is divided into 2 sittings of 40 minutes, 8:30am to 9:10am and 9:20am to 10:00am. You have a choice of fruits, yoghurts, cereals, preserves, toasts and cooked breakfasts. You will find detailed breakfast menus on the tables. Kindly let us know whether you have any dietary needs. Food allergies and intolerances: Before you order your food and drinks, please speak to our staff if you want to know about our ingredients. Earlier breakfast is possible on request.

Car Park

We have a free small car park at the back of the building. It is limited to 5 spaces. We apply a first-arrived-first-served policy. If your car is parked at the front of the car park and block another guest’s car, we may ask you to leave your car keys with us or be available to move your car when needed.

Checkout

Please check out before 11:00. Do not forget to leave the hotel keys at the reception. If you want us to keep your luggage while you go out, after your checkout, just ask at the reception, and we shall keep them. Your luggage should have tags with your name. Late checkout (up to 12:30) is possible for an additional fee of £20.

Clock - USB Charger

You will find a clock and a brief user guide on a night table. It is also a USB and wireless charger.

Coffee, Tea, Hot chocolate and biscuits

You will find in your room everything you should need to make coffee, tea or hot chocolate. If you require more coffee, tea, chocolate, milk or sugar, please contact the reception.

Cot

We can provde a travel cot upon demand. However, we do not provide the linen for it.

Discount card

We are members of the BAGs association. Thus, all our guests can have discounts in bars, pubs, restaurants and shops. Ask for the discount card at the reception. You can find the list of premises that accepts the card on our Discount card page

Fan

If it is too hot in your room, you should find a fan stored in the wardrobe. If there is no fan in your room, contact the reception and we shall bring you one.

First aid kit

Pelham Lodge has a first aid kit. Please contact the reception if you need it.

Gym

The nearest gym is Gym Blackpool opened 24/7 on Talbot Road (0.2 mile). Map/direction here

Hairdyer

Hairdryers are available in the rooms. If you have any problem, please contact the reception. May we remind our guests when using the hairdryer to switch on the blower as well as the heating element otherwise the dryer will melt, thank you.

Hotel Keys

When you checked in you were given a key set: one key opens your room, the other one (blue) opens the front door of the hotel. Do not forget to leave the keys at the reception when you check out. We charge a fee of £20 if you lose a key.

Internet WiFi

We provide free WiFi access throughout the hotel. The name of the WiFi access point is pelhamlodge. Even though our WiFi access is free, you need to provide a password to connect to it. The password is displayed at the reception desk.

Ironing

Irons and ironing boards are available on demand. Contact the reception, and we will bring them to your room. Please do use the ironing board to iron. Do not iron on the room’s furniture or place the iron on the floor.

Laundry

We do not provide a laundry service. The closest launderette is Total Laundry care on Dickson Road, dry cleaner is Smart Press Dry Cleaner on Alfred street.

Luggage

If you want us to keep your luggage while you go out, after your checkout, just ask at the reception, and we shall keep them. Your luggage should have tags with your name.

NHS Health Centre

The nearest NHS walk-in centre is Whitegate Health centre, 150 Whitegate drive FY3 9ES. Buses 4 and 18 serve it. Phone: +44(0)1253 953040.

Pharmacy

The nearest pharmacy is the NHS Pharmacy in Talbot Road. There is also a Boots shop in Bank Hey Street.

The reception is usually open between 08:30 and 18:00. If you do not see us at the reception desk, please use the reception bell or ring the house phone number. Our mobile phone numbers are also displayed at the reception.

Smoking and Vaping

All rooms are fitted with smoke alarms, which are sensitive to all forms of smoke. We request our guests to refrain from smoking and vaping in bedrooms or any-where on the premises so that the detectors are not set off accidentally. In the case of a call out due to an unjustified trigger of the fire alarm, we may charge a £50 fee.

If you need a taxi, tell the reception and we shall order a taxi for you, or you may want to ring one of the following companies:

Television - Radio

The television in your room gives you access to all Freeview programmes. Press the guide button to get the list of the TV and radio programmes available. Please keep the sound of your television to a low volume, so you do not disturb the other guests of the hotel.

Towels

If you would like fresh towels, please leave the towels in the shower cubicle. If you require additional towels, do not hesitate to contact the reception.

Tramway and local buses

The local bus lines converge in Market street (for buses going south) and Clif-ton/Corporation streets (for buses going north), or Talbot Road. The trams run alongside the promenade. The nearest tramway stop is the North Pier Station. You can find detailed information on Blackpool Transport’s website https://www.blackpooltransport.com or their mobile app “BPL Transport”.
